Yesterday I had the privilege of spending the afternoon with Bill and his mom. Bill teaches me something new whenever I am around him. His personal strength to me, is his ability to communicate his needs, his fears , his likes, dislikes, emotions and what is important to him.
Bill is one of the best communicators I have ever known. His mastery in communication is in no way related to any expertise in verbal exchange of information.
He gets an A+ from me because he has perfected communication. In spite of the fact that he cannot communicate in the traditional way that all of us take for granted, he gets his point across, he commands you to listen and pay attention.
Bill, knowing you have touched me in a special way! I think that sometimes the ability to speak in some way impairs our ability to communicate, it makes us less sensitive to human behavior and body language In reality, I am convinced that non-verbal communication tell us far more about someone than any exchange of words can.
Bill is also fortunate to have a mom who has fought for him to have as normal a life as he possibly can. Kudos to you G. You are an awesome woman!

/ January 21, 2013Wow! I am blown away! You are so intuitive and really get, Bill. I truly believe he has an uncanny ability to draw intelligent caring people to work with him. I believe he often teaches at times somewhat comparable to what he is taught. Many people are intimidated by what they are not able to control. Sometimes you need to step back and realize that no one is able to control everything, always.
